News in Napa: What's Coming Next

California is in full bloom and so is The Napa Table! I’m so excited to share with you some of my new (and improved) offerings coming in the near future.

If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably seen me go through some big ups and downs this past winter. Any business owner will tell you that it’s not easy running a small business while simultaneously trying to manage other aspects of life. This winter I fumbled through that paradigm— dealing with sickness, toddlerhood, mental health battles and trying to keep my business that I love so much afloat! Now that winter is gone and I’m stepping out on the other side, all I can express is gratitude: for lessons learned, the strength to keep going and most of all, for the wonderful NT community that has been supportive, loving and gracious with me along the way. Thank you for being here and allowing me to show up not only as a business owner, but as a person. The Napa Table’s core identity focuses on authentic connection to not only food and where it comes from, but to people. Within that comes the chance for us to show up fully as ourselves and be present in that, and I’m so grateful you’ve extended that same courtesy to me!

Okay I could go on… and on. But I want to share what’s on the horizon for The Napa Table and some things that are in the works! I thought it would be easiest to share it all in one place so as my customers, clients and friends you have the full picture of all the fun things happening. I hope you love it all and I truly believe there is something for everyone with these upcoming offerings. Let me know what you think!

Partnership with Tock: I am so excited to announce my partnership with Tock, in an effort to streamline tasting, class and board reservations! When it launches (hopefully early this summer!), you will be able to book directly on my website without having to submit an inquiry form or wait for confirmation. As a customer you’ll be able to see all my available dates for private tastings, have access to any public tastings coming up and pay and reserve all in one place! The same goes for ordering boards for pick up and delivery. My goal is to have this be a simple process for all of your Napa Table needs.

L’Atelier! My workshop and new tasting room is making such great progress, and I’m so excited to share the final renovations with you! L’Atelier is a mid-century barn that will act as my own personal event space for tastings, classes, retreats and gatherings. As with any renovation project, it is turning out to be bigger (and more expensive!) than anticipated, but I’m full of hope as I see it coming along! I am hoping to host a “barnwarming” this summer when it’s all finished.

Virtual Offerings: The biggest request I receive from friends who aren’t located in Napa (or coming to the valley for a tasting soon) is a way to connect and learn virtually. My sister and I have been working for months to make this a reality! This summer we are launching two exciting virtual offers: 1) The Table, a comprehensive course that shares every ounce of cheese knowledge I posses! From learning about cheese history, making, pairing, tasting, you name it! If you love cheese and want to become an afficianado, or even work in the cheese industry (or even do what I do!), this is for you. 2) a Monthly Subscription that is for the enthusiast wanting a virtual taste of monthly cheese knowledge. Every month we’ll focus on a different aspect of the cheese world, from how to build cheese boards, how to shop for great cheese, highlights on cheesemakers, etc. Its a monthly dose of beautiful education delivered right to your inbox.

The Great 2024 Cheese Tour! I am giddy with excitement to share that I am officially ready to announce my first ever French Cheese Tour, happening September 2024! Join me in Paris, Brittany and Normandy for the trip of a lifetime. We’ll explore bustling Paris and the rolling hills of Northern France through the lens of cheese, butter, salt, wine, chocolate and pastries. Whether you’re a foodie, cheese lover or just want to go to France together, this trip is for you. Think farm and creamery tours through Normandy, cooking classes and river cruises on the Seine in Paris, and picnics on the lawns of chateaus in Brittany. It’s going to be one for the books and I can’t wait to share the official September 2024 dates with you soon!

Along with all this excitement, I am still offering tastings, classes and boards! I’d love to host you at my table or yours, and you can always keep up with me on instagram, Tik Tok or Facebook. Thank you for being here and I’m sending all my love and well wishes for a beautiful summer. Bisous, Hayley
