Garden Secrets

Run, don’t walk to your nearest Trader Joe’s to pick up @dorothycreamery’s seasonal Garden Secrets! 😍 Not sponsored, I just love when TJ’s has quality, artisanal American cheeses.

Meet Garden Secrets, an herbed bloomy rind or brie style.

This flower shaped button hails from Dorothy’s Creamery in Lena, IL.

The Kolb family has been making cheese since the turn of the 20th Century with Fred Kolb’s daughter, Dorothy, leading today’s operations.

Not only did they make great cheese, but Dorothy was the first woman in American to earn a degree in dairy science!

Garden Secrets is flecked with basil, oregano, and sage, giving it an herbaceous grassy bite with a smooth buttery finish.

Eat on its own or keep it simple with honey and a fresh baguette.

Would you try this cheese?
